Speaking of backing up, the program also can be used easily back up all messages in any folder you have in Outlook Express - just tell it you want to recover the messages in that folder, and create a folder to save them and it will
copy them all into the new folder for you.

Solution :

- I dloaded the Recovery Toolbox.
- I 'copied' the Inbox file to another folder.
- I directed the software to that folder from where this utility would start reading the inbox.

- Then i deleted the actual inbox.
- Opened OE

Software is easy, efficient and very useful when users are about to lose critical mail. The price is a bit steep since we only will probably need it rarely.

Some things that would be nice to have is provision to sort by date/sender etc., Filter-option for selecting messages for saving (for eg. by Sender, Date etc.). If the Messages are large in number, then it is hard to select one-by-one (if you want only a subset to be saved).]]>
